About BUSIA Border FM
BUSIA Border FM is still in its early days of broadcasting, but it will soon transmit its programs as a 24-hour internet radio station. Its goal is to provide a community broadcasting service to the Busia residents. The objective is to contribute to our local community’s health and social wealth by offering access to a fully independent, community-owned, and operated local radio station that will improve access to local information, events, and entertainment. Increase the sense of community among individuals of diverse ages, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic origins.
BUSIA Border FM is currently in its initial stages of broadcasting, with plans to transition into a 24/7 online radio station in the near future. As a community-based radio service in Busia, our mission is to enhance the well-being and cohesion of our local community. Our objective is to establish a platform that offers independent, community-driven programming to our residents. By delivering local news, event coverage, and entertainment, we aim to foster a greater sense of unity among individuals of diverse ages, social standings, cultures, and ethnicities.
